If the eyes are the mirror of the soul, your eyebrows are the frame of the face. Shaped, tinted and defined, a good set of brows is about as important as a good haircut.
That said, the brow mistresses of the trade are generally booked til Memorial Day and usually in hot demand.
A certain brow impresario in SF has opened up her little black book and is accepting new clients with a stellar team of brow architects, at the ready to make you look runway fabulous.
It’s my pleasure and privilege to introduce you to the best in SF, my personal friend and brow magician, Anna Lee of Blink Eyebrows and Cosmetics. Anna is to brows as Michelangelo was to the Sistine Chapel: a devotee of the art, the brush and the effect, an expert, with spectacular results.
One session with Anna and your face gets a little more definition (the way a nice BW shot looks a little more polished with a sleek frame). The eyes sparkle a bit more, the entire visage looks a little more pulled together.
And this Valentine’s Day from now until March 1st, Blink wants to show you how much they care:
Come in with a friend and get 25% off both brow treatments!
Plus a free lip gloss!

As a young girl, we grew up hearing “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed Something Blue.” Well, that something blue will be the new trend in 2010 for brides. Bright, bold cobalt blue will be seen more at weddings in the flowers, bridesmaids’ dresses, the brides’ shoes and even bright bold eye shadows.
Blue eye shadow was very popular in the 70’s & 80’s and after a few years, women stayed away from wearing any shades of blues. But now every makeup line has come out with bold cobalt blues that any bride could easily find from matte, satins, shimmers, metallic’s, and even loose pearl eye shadows.
At a recent bridal photo shoot I decided to play with an L’OREAL HIP DUO blue eye shadow in Forgiven that can be used in a more smoky way. Remember when wearing a strong eye you should keep the lip color very light and I went with NYX Cosmetics Diamond Sparkle nude lip gloss in Beige Sparkle.
So brides your something blue doesn’t have to be hidden anymore, it can be glamxuriously worn down the aisle.
