If you are having a destination wedding this summer or are honeymooning in a warm and sunny climate, you will definitely want to bring a few pairs of cute sandals with you. Our Wishpot Wedding Experts found adorable summer sandals for your honeymoon so you and your new spouse can relax and soak in some rays in style.
Even if your honeymoon doesn’t take you to Greece, you can channel the relaxed style with some fun Grecian sandals, like any of these pairs above. There are so many fabulous sandal options out there for you to choose from. Throw on a metallic pair or one with studs and add a little rocker goddess to your swimsuit. Don a distressed brown leather pair with stone details and channel your inner indie side. With these sandals’ structured ankle straps and hardware, they look great with a flowing, printed maxi dress or a relaxed t-shirt style dress, but are adaptable enough that you can wear them with your everyday favorite pair of jeans. Wedding Expert, Gekd Boutique found an adorable white beaded pair that would look fabulous with a pair of distressed denim shorts.
Not a casual sandal type of girl? If you want to dress up your beach wear this season, you are in luck! Wedge and espadrille sandals are back with a vengeance, with taller heels, funkier patterns, and wicked ankle wraps. Expert, Wedding Nouvea is on point with this style. She found this fun espadrille, perfect for a romantic dinner date or a
While neutral colored sandals, are wearable with any color clothing, they are not necessarily for everyone. If nude sandals just won’t do the trick for you, try one of these flirty, striped espadrilles and add a little interest to your standard summer shorts or skirts, above.
Espadrilles have been a summer staple for decades. While the espadrille trend goes away and comes back like most trends, espadrilles are back with a vengeance this season! Espadrilles are a unique type of sandal because they are known for their extreme comfort, even though they have a heel. The beauty of the espadrille is the soft, natural materials of which they are typically made and their wide, supportive platform heel. No complaining about blisters for you on your honeymoon!
Planning a wedding can be a large undertaking. Many brides focus a large portion of their attention on what they will wear the day of the wedding, neglecting their honeymoon wardrobe. Don’t let this happen to you! No matter where your honeymoon takes you, make sure to stock up on some great footwear that will leave you feeling like the queen of the beach!

Founded in 2007 by designer Karen Young, Hammocks & High Tea is a home décor company that creates luxurious eco-friendly everyday products infused with a modern Caribbean aesthetic. Influenced by the designer’s South American upbringing, vivid colors and contemporary ethnic patterns permeate the collection of drawer liners, tea towels, pillows and other tabletop items.
The Spring/ Summer 2010 collection is inspired by the cultural blends that travel and trade can create and that can be found in patterns throughout the world. “The new designs embrace and meld the stories of each culture with a nod to African, Indian, and Portuguese,” says Karen. “For instance, our Portuguese tile print decorates South America as well as Turkey, and we grounded the collection with a subtle infusion of African and Indian shapes.” Each pattern forms a statement on it’s own, but can also blend seamlessly into any decor.
The products employ a tropical color palette with hues such as turquoise, coral, mango and lime, and mellowed with indigo blue and sharkskin gray. The pillows, napkins and tea towels are digitally printed on 100% certified organic cotton with non-toxic water-based inks that contain no volatile compounds. The best-selling drawer liners are printed with soy-based inks onto 100% recycled paper and lightly scented in your choice of Rose Tea, French Lavender, Mandarin Jasmine, Coriander, Amber and Patchouli Rose.
Hammocks & High Tea also introduces cloth sachets and perfume boxes this spring. A sophisticated take on potpourri, each gorgeous laser-cut perfume box is filled with herbs and flowers. Designed to scent clothing and intimates, these boxes can be used anywhere for a lovely scent. The perfume boxes will be offered in: Amber/Balsam and Lavender/ Bergamot. Amber/Basam contains sweet spices, resins, and florals and is topped off with essential oil of peru balsam. Lavender/Bergamot is a light floral scent containing florals, including jasmine, and rosemary. All ingredients are 100% certified organic.
Cloth sachets are made with 100% certified organic cotton and will be available in Lavender and Lemon Verbana. Each sachet as a loop that makes it easy to use anywhere – from your closet to the car.
